El Segundo Unified School District families and community members are invited to register for the 34th annual Run for Education, taking place Saturday, April 25, 2026.
Hosted by the El Segundo Council of Parent Teacher Associations (PTAs), this longstanding community event raises funds to support programs and opportunities for students across the district.
Participants of all ages and abilities can choose from several race options, including a 10K run, a 5K walk/run on USATF-certified courses, and kids races featuring 1K and ½K distances. The event offers a scenic route through downtown El Segundo and surrounding neighborhoods.

Family and group discounts are available for four or more participants.
Registration prices will increase after April 13.
All registrants receive a custom race T-shirt and a goodie bag.
Following the race, attendees are encouraged to visit the event expo, where additional activities and community offerings will be available. On race day, participants can also take advantage of special savings at eight El Segundo restaurants by showing their race shirt.
All proceeds directly benefit educational programs and initiatives in the El Segundo Unified School District. All donations are tax-deductible.
